Important concepts

1. What are the existing user profiles?

On the Yellow Tokens platform, there are three user profiles:

(i) Master User

(ii) Manager User

(iii) Standard User

2. What are the differences between each of these profiles?

The tables below illustrate the differences between the user profiles.

Changing the viewing and editing permissions of a Standard User

By definition, Master Users and Manager Users can view data from all projects in the account and edit the settings of all Custom Projects.

Standard Users, on the other hand, can view data and edit settings only for projects for which the appropriate permissions have been granted.

If you are a Master User or a Manager User, you can change the viewing and editing permissions for the projects of Standard Users in your account.

This functionality allows specific individuals in your organization to view data from specific projects.

If you are a marketing agency or a business consultant sharing projects with your clients, you can configure permissions in such a way that one client does not see another client's project.

To change the view and edit permissions for a Standard User’s projects, follow the steps outlined below:

1 – Right after logging in, you will see a circle with a person’s image in the top right corner of the screen on all pages of the Yellow Tokens platform. Click on it, and you will see the "Manage Users" menu item. Click on that item.

2 – On the next page, you will see all other users on your account. Click "Edit" next to the user whose permissions you want to change.

3 – Choose which projects the user will be able to view and edit, and click "Finish and Save".

Note: Ready-Made Projects from the Project Store cannot be edited by any user, regardless of their profile.

Changing a user's profile

If you are a Master User or a Manager User, you can change the profile of certain users in your account.

Master Users can:

Change a Manager User to a Standard User or to the Master User of the account.
Change a Standard User to a Manager User or to the Master User of the account.

Note: If the Master User of the account changes another user to master, he becomes a Manager User. There can only be 1 Master User in an account.

Manager Users can:

Change another Manager User to a Standard User.
Change a Standard User to a Manager User.

To change a user’s profile, follow the steps outlined below:

1 – Right after logging in, you will see a circle with a person’s image in the top right corner of the screen on all pages of the Yellow Tokens platform. Click on it, and you will see the "Manage Users" menu item. Click on that item.

2 – On the next page, you will see all other users on your account. Click "Edit" next to the user whose profile you want to change.

3 – Select the desired new profile and click "Finish and Save".

Removing a user from your account

If you are a Master User or a Manager User, you can remove users from your account.

To remove a user from your account, follow the steps outlined below:

1 – Right after logging in, you will see a circle with a person’s image in the top right corner of the screen on all pages of the Yellow Tokens platform. Click on it, and you will see the "Manage Users" menu item. Click on that item.

2 – On the next page, you will see all other users on your account. Select the users you want to remove from your account and click on the trash can icon "Delete selected items".

Once removed, users will lose access to all projects and other information on your account.

Note: A Manager User cannot remove the Master User from the account.

Managing your team

Inviting a user to your account

If you are a Master User or a Manager User, you can invite other users to your account. To do this, follow the steps outlined below:

1 – Right after logging in, you will see a circle with a person’s image in the top right corner of the screen on all pages of the Yellow Tokens platform. Click on it, and you will see the "Manage Users" menu item. Click on that item.

2 – On the next page, you will see all other users on your account. Click on “+ Add User.”

3 – Choose the profile for the new user, set the editing and viewing permissions for your account’s projects, and you’re done!

Note:

Manager Users, by definition, can view all projects on the account and edit all Custom Projects on the account.

At least one project viewing permission must be granted for a Standard User to be invited to the account.
